Unwrapping Joy: First Annual Toy Drive – Another Special Day for Less Fortunate Kids!
Voltage Park Event Center located at 1260 River Street Hyde Park, MA did it again. On December 22, 2023, Voltage Park Event Center’s team once again donated the place to Shut Up Until You (SUUYT) There to host it’s first annual toy drive for the less fortunate kids in shelter. Boston City Councilar, At-Large Julia Mejia’s office and others contributed to the toy drive by donating many of those toys that were given to those kids.
Together with Timeless Studio that provided us Santa and photography, Creative Styles Events Inc with a decorative display those kids and their parents will remember, cup cakes from LA Kingdom cakes, and food donations from many individuals in the community, those kids had a blast. Together, as a community, we provided toys and a fun time and experience to over 100 kids. K.H said, “I didn’t want to come, but I am glad I did because I can see how much my kids are enjoying themselves.” That was the goal; for the kids to have fun, the parent to have a little break, and the moment to be special.
